Consolidated industry and expert dialogue – this is how ITM 2026 is being built

Poznań is becoming the epicenter of industrial innovation long before the planned start of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE 2026 (26-29 May). Nearly a hundred leading companies from Poland and abroad secured their space several months before the fair. This confirms the unwavering position of the fair as a key business platform and a place where trends are born – from production automation, through modern metal processing technologies, to the groundbreaking use of artificial intelligence in industry.

The division of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE into thematic exhibitions – AUTOMA, MACH-TOOL, SURFEX and WELDING – allows companies to better identify with a specific industry, and makes it easier for guests to access the technologies they are interested in while visiting the trade fair exhibition.

Where trends are born…
The concept of thematic zones will once again gain the support of key partners who, as in the last edition of the fair, will take care of these unique spaces. These include: Schmalz (Collaborative Robot Zone), Troax (Safety Zone), Balluff (Demobus Zone) and Pneumat (Pneumat Game Zone). There will also be a DBR77 Zone with innovations for factories of the future.

– Early reservations for exhibition space are a signal to us that the industry is eagerly awaiting the fair. Market leaders know that ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE is not just a hardware showcase, but above all, a place where trends for the coming years are born,
– says Anna Lemańska-Kramer, deputy director of the ITM trade fair. In 2026, the topic of artificial intelligence in industry will be strongly emphasized – we expect it to be an absolute hit of the programme. We are also continuing the success of the European Science Fair, which will bring together research institutes, universities, technology startups and businesses in one inspiring space, – she adds.

Active presence and partnership – the ITM team at the heart of the industry
The ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE trade fair team, in anticipation of the May 2026 edition, is actively collaborating with leading organizations and industry publications, fully implementing the slogan: 'Our team is where the heart of industry beats.' – By attending key events and conferences, we absorb knowledge, seek inspiration, and promote the ITM trade fair as a place for exchanging experiences across various industries. Above all, however, such events are an opportunity for in-depth conversations with people involved in the industry. This expert voice is extremely important to us. We really appreciate and care about these relationships because we believe that it is people who build the success of events, – says Anna Lemańska-Kramer.

From occupational health and safety, through painting technologies, to foundry, enamels and steel
The ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE exhibition is famous for its scale and the consolidation of offers from many industrial sectors in one place and at one time. That is why in recent months the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE team participated in important, thematically diverse industry events organized by the trade fair partners. Such meetings included the 2nd National Occupational Health and Safety Conference (27-28 November 2025, Stryków) addressed to the logistics, warehousing, production and transport industries. Topics such as technical hazards at work, safe space in the hall and training techniques are just part of the extensive programme. The conference was organized by the industry magazines 'Logistyka i Magazynowanie.' 'Production Manager' and media partner of the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE trade fair – Maintenance Services.

Although the FOCAST Exhibition accompanying the ITM trade fair takes place every two years, contact with the foundry industry is a very important element of the Poznań trade fair's strategy. Grupa MTP, the organizer of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE, was the Silver Sponsor of the National Foundry Day – a key meeting of the industry, combined with a technical conference entitled 'Foundry of Tomorrow – Sustainable Development, Innovation, Digital Future.' The event (12/12/2025, Krakow) was a platform for discussion about digitalisation, automation and technological innovations in the sector, inspiring participants to implement changes that increase compliance with environmental requirements.

One of the exhibitors that has already declared its participation in the upcoming ITM trade fair is ECOLINE. – It's not only an industry leader, a manufacturer of powder coating systems, but also a partner initiating meetings filled with specialized knowledge. This is the Modern Painting Technology Forum 2025, regularly organized by ECOLINE, in which our team has the opportunity to participate, explains Anna Lemańska-Kramer. Last autumn, this event (15-17 October 2025, Pabianice) focused on sustainable development and the concept of Painting 5.0, combining autonomous systems, digital transformation and eco-friendly production.

ECOLINE will be an exhibitor at the SURFEX Exhibition, which will also feature the Association of the Polish Enamel Industry. A few months before the fair, SPPE organized the SPPE Enamel Congress (Legnica, 1-3 October 2025), which was a platform for discussion about the prospects and innovative applications of enamel under the slogan 'Enamel: past or future?'

The result of intensive cooperation with industry associations was also the participation of the ITM trade fair team during the Stainless Steel Days Conference (27-28 October 2025, Warsaw), organized by the Stainless Steel Association. The discussions focused on the development directions of the Polish industry, business forecasts and managerial challenges.

Best practices in maintenance, automation, cybersecurity, and energy efficiency, as well as optimization of intralogistics and warehousing processes, were discussed at more than a dozen technical conferences held this fall by Axon Media Group. – It has been a long-time partner of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE, thanks to which we are close to the industry in various parts of Poland. These numerous trips and conversations with participants confirm our belief that our guests at the fair expect expert knowledge, and we will certainly have lots of it during the next edition of ITM. We are working intensively on the programme. Of course, the extremely valuable core of the fair remains the diverse exhibition and exhibitors' offerings, – says Anna Lemańska-Kramer.

ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE will be held on 26-29.05.2026 on the fairgrounds of MTP Poznań Expo. The exhibition of the Modernlog and Subcontracting fairs will be available simultaneously.

Made in steel 2027 strengthens its international dimension: kallanish and smr partner to bring the g

From market analysis and trade flows to geopolitics and the green transition: the next edition expands the content program and introduces new formats for dialogue and in-depth analysis. Made in Steel 2027 brings a global discussion on the future of the steel industry to Fiera Milano. For the 2027 edition, the event, organized by siderweb in conjunction with Fiera Milano, has chosen to strengthen its international reach with two exclusive partnerships with Kallanish and SMR - Steel & Metals Market Research . The goal is to further expand the event's content offering and bring a global perspective to the program on the markets, commercial dynamics, and transformations reshaping the steel industry. "Made in Steel increasingly aims to be a place where the international steel industry can meet and exchange ideas," says Paolo Morandi, CEO of Made in Steel and siderweb. "The partnership with Kallanish and SMR goes precisely in this direction: bringing international expertise, analysis, and perspectives to Milan, creating opportunities for dialogue that can help operators understand an increasingly interconnected and complex market." "The European steel industry, " he adds, " is undergoing a profound transformation, in which competitiveness, trade, energy, decarbonization, and geopolitics are inseparable issues. Made in Steel aims to be a space where these dimensions can be addressed together, bringing together those who produce, process, and use steel, those who analyze scenarios, and those who define the rules." A new series of sessions dedicated to international markets, organized by Kallanish , will focus on three key areas shaping the steel industry: "Global Steel Market Outlook," "Trade and Competitiveness," and "The Future of Steel Production." Participants can choose to take one, two, or all three modules, which will cover global market developments, the changing trade and regulatory environment, and the future of steel production, from raw materials to artificial intelligence and digitalization. SMR - Steel & Metals Market Research is a market research firm specializing in stainless steel and specialty steels, led by Markus Moll. It will organize a conference dedicated to the global markets for carbon and alloy engineering steels, bearing steels, free-cutting steels, and tool steels. The program will provide insights into the global supply structure, trade flows and market volumes, and end-use demand by segment, including 10-year forecasts. The program will also include a global comparison of production costs and an assessment of geopolitical trends and their impact on the engineering steel industry. The new international partnerships will complement the already extensive Made in Steel conference program, curated by siderweb. Entrepreneurs, managers, experts, and representatives of the main industry associations will be invited to discuss issues affecting the future of Italian and European steel. Speakers will also include representatives of Assofermet, Eurofer, Eurometal, and Federacciai, as well as representatives of Italian and European institutions . New formats for dialogue and in-depth analysis The program's evolution also extends to content production and delivery. Made in Steel 2027 will go beyond the traditional conference format: among the new features, a live video-podcast station will be available, designed as an open space for meeting with industry professionals and as a place for content production during the event. The siderweb editorial team will engage in ongoing dialogue with representatives of the Italian and international steel supply chain, gathering testimonials, analyses, and perspectives directly from those attending Made in Steel. The production of podcasts, already part of siderweb's editorial offering, will also continue, strengthening the connection between the physical experience of the event and the digital enjoyment of its content. One of the new features of 2027 will be the arrival at Fiera Milano of “The Green Steel Challenge” , the podcast produced by the Willy Korf Foundation and Kallanish Commodities, which will make live recordings during the event. A new dimension for Made in Steel Made in Steel 2027 will increasingly be the place where the steel industry looks to the world to understand where it is going and to identify the next direction to follow. The partnerships with Kallanish and SMR are part of the event's broader growth path : the twelfth edition of Made in Steel, scheduled for 11, 12 and 13 May 2027 at Fiera Milano , presents itself with a renewed layout and expanded spaces in pavilions 8, 12 and 16 , designed to welcome an ever-increasing number of companies and promote visibility, networking and business opportunities along the entire steel supply chain. Following the growth of the 2025 edition, which attracted over 19,000 attendees and nearly 400 companies from all over the world, Made in Steel is looking to 2027 with the aim of further consolidating its role as a European platform for discussion, innovation, and development for the sector. Made in Steel is the international conference and exhibition dedicated to the steel industry. It is organized by siderweb - the steel community alongside Fiera Milano. Metal show & tib evolves with the market and becomes digital metal & tib

The market demands digitalization, and ROMEXPO is responding with a major strategic repositioning. Starting with the 2027 edition, the METAL SHOW & TIB trade fair becomes DIGITAL METAL & TIB, an important step for the entire industry and a clear signal of alignment with international standards in the sector. The decision stems from ongoing dialogue with exhibitors and partners over previous editions, whose market signals were clear: the metal industry can no longer be viewed separately from the digital transformation that is redefining production chains, maintenance, logistics, and business models globally today. We listened to this message and rethought the event concept from the ground up — not just as a rebranding, but as a fundamental repositioning of the target audience, the exhibition content, and the value proposition for participants.DIGITAL METAL & TIB aims to become Romania's reference platform for companies undergoing digital transformation, including industrial automation, robotics, predictive maintenance, Industry 4.0, systems integration, and software solutions for production. This is a natural alignment with the direction already adopted by major European trade fairs in the field, and an opportunity for local players to remain competitive in an increasingly internationalized market.A key element of the new concept is the convergence between the metal community and the TIB community. The two ecosystems, complementary by nature, will operate under a single umbrella brand, with an integrated exhibition format, shared thematic areas, and a networking program specifically designed to facilitate cross-industry partnerships."We have closely followed feedback from companies over recent editions, and we clearly understood the direction: the industry needs an event that speaks the language of digitalization, not just product display. DIGITAL METAL & TIB is our answer to this need — a format built for today's company: connected, technologically advanced, and oriented toward international standards," says Oana Netbai, Commercial Director of ROMEXPO.The rebranding, in fact, marks the maturation of an entire exhibition segment. DIGITAL METAL & TIB will bring together manufacturers, technology suppliers, systems integrators, and industry specialists in a setting dedicated to innovation, know-how transfer, and cross-sector collaboration, positioning Romania closer to the trends shaping the industry globally.ROMEXPO organizes the event, and it will take place from May 11–14, 2027, at ROMEXPO, Bucharest. Interested companies are invited to budget early for their participation in DIGITAL METAL & TIB to benefit from the best exhibition conditions and optimal positioning within the event's new concept.
