Recognition extended internationally for the first time.

Bonfiglioli has achieved Top Employer Italia 2026 certification, confirming its position as a leading company in human resources management and development for the third consecutive year. This result highlights a further improvement in the overall rating, which sees Bonfiglioli position itself in the top quartile of certified companies in Italy.

The certification, issued by the Top Employers Institute, recognizes the effectiveness of Bonfiglioli's strategies in promoting a productive work environment, geared towards developing skills, engaging people, and fostering long-term professional growth.

An international milestone for the Group.

2026 represents a key milestone for the Bonfiglioli Group. For the first time, the Top Employer certification has crossed Italian borders and acquired an international dimension. In addition to the Italian offices, the recognition has also been achieved by the operations in Slovakia, India, and the United States, along with Selcom Italia, with scores between 86% and 91%. A milestone that demonstrates the Group's commitment to adopting consistent HR practices and shared standards across the various geographical areas of operation.

Main areas of excellence

The certification, issued by the Top Employers Institute, rewards a structured and comprehensive development path, based on four main pillars:

  • Talent attraction and inclusion, through the strengthening of the Employee Value Proposition, individual interviews and a structured onboarding process starting from Induction Day.
  • Training and development, with the implementation of the Performance Appraisal process globally and the launch of the International Trainee Program aimed at young STEM graduates, of which a new international edition is planned for 2026.
  • Well-being and health, promoted through corporate welfare initiatives, partnerships with the Wellhub platform and health prevention programs such as the Bonfiglioli Health Care Project, which offered almost 500 free cardiology visits in 2025.
  • Diversity and inclusion, strengthened by the achievement of the UNI/PdR 125 certification for gender equality and the launch of the Empowered Together project, developed in collaboration with the Libellula Foundation to foster an inclusive organizational culture.

The Value of Top Employer Certification

Top Employer certification is based on an independent assessment process that analyzes six key areas of Human Resources, including HR strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, and training.
In 2025, the program involved approximately 2,500 companies in 131 countries, contributing to the improvement of working conditions for over 14 million people worldwide.

New milling grade for predictable tool life in titanium machining

Sandvik Coromant combines EthaCore™ carbide technology and Zertivo® technology in the GC1250 grade to improve process security and reduce the carbon footprint of its tools. Sandvik Coromant, a leading manufacturer of cutting tools and manufacturing solutions, has developed the GC1250 grade for indexable insert milling. This new grade is specifically designed for machining titanium alloys. This grade combines EthaCore™ carbide technology with a nano-multilayer PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating to optimize impact toughness, durability, process reliability, and reduce environmental impact. Titanium's poor thermal conductivity causes intense heat concentrations to build up at the cutting edge, accelerating the risk of wear, chipping, and unexpected insert failure. The GC1250 grade solves these problems with a completely new structure that combines Sandvik Coromant's patented EthaCore™ carbide platform with Zertivo® nano-multilayer PVD coating technology. The customer value proposition focuses on three key elements: innovation, performance, and sustainability. The resilient substrate has been designed to adapt to changing thermomechanical loads, helping to increase tool life predictability, reduce unexpected failures, and prevent potential production downtime. " The GC1250 grade sets a new standard in titanium milling with its incredible performance in terms of impact toughness and predictability ," says Wayne Mason, Global Product Application Manager for Grades at Sandvik Coromant. " By reducing the number of insert breakages and unexpected stoppages, this grade is a solution that helps customers optimize machine utilization and the cost-effectiveness of their machining processes ." The GC1250 grade also contributes to achieving sustainability goals. EthaCore™ achieves a substantially lower carbon footprint than leading competitor grades, which instead use ruthenium-based carbide in this application. " Advances in performance and sustainability increasingly need to go hand in hand, " adds Mason. " The GC1250 is a solution that enables safe and profitable machining of titanium while reducing the carbon footprint associated with the tools needed to machine it ." Grade GC1250 is optimized for roughing to semi-finishing operations in titanium alloys. It is designed for wet machining and is available for a wide range of CoroMill® concepts for shoulder milling, face milling, slot milling, high-feed milling, and profiling. The introduction of the GC1250 grade also completes the 1200 series, creating a comprehensive offering covering all major processing material groups. Customers now have access to the most advanced coating and substrate technologies for a wide range of applications. Sandvik Coromant Together with our customers and partners, Sandvik Coromant provides tooling solutions to metalworking industries worldwide. Over eighty years of practical experience have allowed us to build a wealth of knowledge in metal cutting and machining. This expertise transforms every challenge into an opportunity for innovation, collaboration, and cutting-edge solutions. Our goal is to drive positive change by fostering efficiency and growth to shape a future where innovation is at the forefront. Part of the global industrial engineering group Sandvik, Sandvik Coromant is committed to building the future, together with its customers.
