Delta LP500/200 Vertical Axis Grinder New to the catalog The distinctive feature of this exclusive project, developed by the DELTA technical department, is its well-engineered kinematics. This mechanism, deriving the oscillating motion from the manual action of the grinding head, determines the synchronized motion of the workpiece table. This synchronization of movements keeps the spindle's vertical axis constantly aligned with the longitudinal axis of the table, allowing for a grinding surface of 500 x 200 mm, a considerable size for this type of machine. The machine's geometry is always perfectly adjustable thanks to the use of special tapered roller bearings on the oscillating table, which are also capable of supporting heavy loads. The LP500/200 grinder, with construction features common to the entire range, also features an optimized structure with a sturdy column stiffening arm and a 3kW (4HP) spindle motor. This ensures maximum precision machining with excellent surface finishes. This oscillating table model comes standard with a permanent-electro magnetic chuck complete with an electronic unit for controlling the magnetic field strength.
