Aceti ART.65 Straight Tube Polishing Machine New to the catalog The ART.65 tube polishing machine allows for polishing and finishing straight tubes and circular bars. The polishing process is performed using an abrasive belt using the "centerless" principle, which consists of two opposing contact wheels; one performs the polishing process using the abrasive belt, while the other, coupled to a gearmotor, rotates and automatically feeds the tube. In addition to polishing, polishing, and finishing, it can also prepare surfaces for manual polishing, chrome plating, and other galvanic treatments, as well as grinding for painting. Belts of any type of abrasive grit (corundum, zirconium, ceramic, diamond, agglomerate, cork, Trizact, Scotch-Brite, etc.) can be mounted on the machine to achieve different finishing qualities. The machine is built with components suitable for "wet" processing, which uses coolant to cool the workpieces, preventing deformation and ensuring a longer life for the abrasive belt, while also achieving extremely high-quality finishes. The wet system is particularly suitable for satin finishing non-ferrous materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, bronze, brass, and even titanium, which have high thermal conductivity, especially when dealing with thin-walled tubular materials.
