Refurbished paint shop
The powder coating line consists of three pretreatment baths, a drying oven, a powder coating booth with Nordson manual and automatic guns, a pair of cyclones for recovering residual paint, and an oven for curing the painted parts.
The pretreatment tanks have been completely renovated and constructed of stainless steel, with a total volume of 15 m3.
Three tunnels were built above them, secured to the tanks with reinforced metal sheets. Three new nozzle systems were installed for degreasing and washing the parts. A gas burner is used to preheat the degreasing solution in the first tank.
The dryer is made of heat-insulating panels and is part of the curing oven. It uses the heat generated by the oven, which is heated by a Weishaupt gas burner.
The paint booth and the manual and automatic guns are Nordson. It has been completely renovated and repaired by representatives of Nordson Bulgaria, meeting all European quality standards. The booth is 5.00 m long, with two manual spray stations and two openings on either side of the booth for automatic guns.
The manual guns are Nordson Verasa La Spray and are equipped with a control unit.
The automatic guns are mounted on a Nordson Model 460 Oscillator. It consists of a conveyor that moves along a vertical column via transport rollers.
The oven is two-tier and heated with propane-butane gas. The conveyor length in the baking area is 40 meters. Drying temperature 120°C, baking temperature up to 200°C. Initial heating time -50 minutes. The oven is constructed with special 250 mm thick heat-insulating panels. Includes a chromium-plated stainless steel combustion chamber, tunnel, and air ducts.
Installed capacities:
Electrical - fans, pumps, conveyor, coating chamber, cyclone, and lighting - total 30 kW-400 V.
Gas - propane-butane fuel.
Burner - 400 kW - Weishaupt type - drying and baking.
Burner - 40 kW - Weishaupt type - washing tank heating.
Workpieces up to 1200 mm can be coated. A work cycle takes approximately 60 minutes at maximum system load.
