Stanko Russian parallel lathe, 2,150 x 10,500 mm, very robust and heavy-duty. This brand (modern lathes, including finishing lathes) is part of a well-known family, related to the simple yet exceptional Kramatorsk parallel lathes.
The 2,150 mm turning diameter on the carriage is its main feature: a lathe with such a large working diameter is normally found only on larger machines (2,500–3,800 mm).
The declared capacity for continuous machining is 70 tons; in some cases, it is also possible to machine parts weighing up to 80 tons. The machine is equipped with two large steady rests to facilitate the machining of heavy parts.
The declared working length is 10,000 mm; with its original tolerance, it can also machine parts up to 10,500 mm.
The carriage is a modern design with two blades: one narrow and one wide for large chip removal (chip size: 35 x 3 mm).
All axes are on bearings, allowing for incredible processing speeds even for such large diameters.
The lathe is fully functional and can be installed in its current state. However, since it is equipped with a 1995 Siemens CNC with its original electrical components, an upgrade is recommended to achieve like-new performance while maintaining a quality mechanical structure that is difficult to find in modern machines.
This is an extremely solid and durable lathe, unmatched in terms of sturdiness and cost to new machines with similar features.
The lathe, which we own, is located in Brescia and is flanked by another slightly larger lathe (2,400 x 12,500 mm, 70–80 ton capacity), positioned approximately 5 meters apart. During the inspection, a direct comparison is possible to choose the machine best suited to your current and future needs.
Upon request, the machining diameter can be increased up to 3,500 mm (with a capacity of 50 tons). The working length can also be modified, thanks to our experience in manufacturing cast iron bases.
All work is performed in compliance with current regulations and with a full guarantee. Any work can be carried out in close collaboration with the customer.
