FEATURES
• Base and column support arm: made of the highest-quality monolithic cast iron with ribs at the points subjected to the greatest stress, ensuring maximum rigidity of the grinding wheelhead.
• Grinding wheel motor head: composed of a special three-phase motor with external ventilation and dynamic balance, whose large spindle rotates on special bearings suitable for high speeds, with automatic backlash compensation.
• Column: cast iron, hinged on the column support arm by means of large, adjustable tapered roller bearings, ensuring maximum rigidity against bending.
• Rapid vertical feed: achieved by means of a handwheel acting on a pair of helical gears.
• Micrometric vertical feed: achieved by means of a pawl located on the handwheel drum; it can be engaged or disengaged, allowing direct readings on the handwheel vernier scale to 0.01 mm.
