FEATURES
• Base and column support arm: made of the highest-quality cast iron with ribs at the points subjected to the greatest stress, ensuring maximum rigidity for the grinding wheelhead.
• Grinding wheel motor head: composed of a special three-phase motor with external ventilation and dynamic balance, whose large spindle rotates on special bearings suitable for high speeds, with automatic backlash compensation.
• Column: cast iron, hinged to the column support arm by means of large, adjustable tapered roller bearings, ensuring maximum rigidity against bending.
• Rapid vertical feed: This is achieved by means of a graduated handwheel that acts on a pair of helical gears, allowing a feed rate of 2 mm per revolution.
• Micrometric vertical feed: This is achieved by means of a pawl located on the handwheel drum; it can be engaged or disengaged, allowing direct readings on the handwheel vernier scale to the nearest 0.01 mm.
