Headstock and Spindle: On the left side of the machine is the headstock enclosed in the casing (with the FTP oval emblem prominently displayed). It is equipped with mechanical lever selectors for setting the rotation speed and a three-jaw self-centering chuck for clamping the workpiece.
Bed and Guides: The heavy-duty cast iron bed with ground prisms extends lengthwise, supporting the lead screw and the sliding bar for automatic feeds or threading.
Carriage and Tool Turret: The mobile carriage slides along the bed guides and is equipped with an adjustable tool turret, handwheels for manual feeds (longitudinal and transverse), and the coolant supply system (the flexible hose is visible).
Sub-Headstock (Mobile Headstock): On the right side is the adjustable sub-headstock, useful for supporting long pieces with a tailstock or for performing center drilling operations.
